The original plan for this project was to run it as a membership based service. A little too pie in the sky it seems, so I've opened the whole thing up. Nothing tricky or dubious, at least I hope. Instead, in order to try and get a little revenue flowing to keep it alive, I will be adding a variety of ways for you to help.

You will be familiar with the ever present GOOGLE search boxes and paid links. If you hadn't thought of it before, this is a good way to help the various webmasters whose hard work you benefit from along the way. When you see something of interest, don't be afraid, click on it. The website you found it on will eventually get a few cents for the referral.

Another often encountered device is the AMAZON.COM link. If you access Amazon using one of them, then Terrapin Tales will receive a small percentage of anything that you spend there. It's a way to help the big guys share with the little guys. You can find some more of these links in the Terrapin Tales - STORE.

And, then there is my favorite: Join Zipcar and get $25 in free driving! This is a great Green concept, implemented much along the lines of my original plan for Terrapin Tales. It is a car sharing service popping up all over the world. Check it out! The part that is of interest here, is the fact that you can help me get by with out a car! If you join using the previous link, then not only will you get $25 in free driving time, but so will I. Once you have joined, you also can get free time by referring friends and family. For those of us who won't be able to afford our own hybrid or plug-in-hybrid electric cars anytime soon, this is a way to get to drive them.
